Privacy Policy
How Nocturnum Creative handles website inquiries. Effective September 29, 2026. Privacy contact: Robert, robert@nocturnum.ca.
Information you choose to provide
The inquiry forms collect your name, email address, optional company, selected service, budget, project description and acknowledgment of the terms and privacy notice. Please do not include medical information, identity documents, payment-card details, account passwords or other sensitive material. We use the information to respond, assess your project and discuss a possible engagement.
Submission and email delivery
When you submit, the form sends its contents to Netlify, which hosts this website and processes, stores and filters submissions for spam. Netlify sends a notification to robert@nocturnum.ca. Messages and subsequent correspondence are also handled by our email provider. Netlify may process technical information such as IP addresses and request metadata for security, spam prevention and service operation. These providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where local laws may apply.
Use and sharing
We use inquiries for the conversation you requested, project administration, security and legal obligations. We do not sell inquiry information or treat an inquiry as consent to unrelated marketing. Access is limited to people and service providers who need it for those purposes. If a project requires a specialist or subcontractor to receive confidential material, that handling is addressed as part of the engagement. We may disclose information where required by law.
Website features and external links
Fonts, portfolio images and scripts are hosted with the site. We have not added advertising pixels or marketing tracking cookies. Hosting infrastructure may process technical traffic data. External portfolio, social and email links lead to services with their own privacy practices. Netlify’s privacy information is available at https://www.netlify.com/privacy/. Your browser, device and email application may retain history, downloads or autofill information under your settings.
Retention and safeguards
We keep inquiries and correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for the inquiry, a resulting project, recordkeeping or legal obligations. Retention can differ between the form dashboard, email and backups. We use the hosting and email providers’ security controls and limit access, but no internet or email service is completely secure. Contact us to discuss a safer route before sharing confidential project material.
Your choices and requests
Email robert@nocturnum.ca to request access, correction, deletion or information about how your data is handled, or to withdraw consent where applicable. We may ask for reasonable identity verification; legal retention duties can limit deletion. Withdrawal may prevent us from continuing an inquiry or service. You can contact us directly instead of using the form. Privacy concerns may also be raised with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at https://www.priv.gc.ca/.
Changes
We update this notice when the website’s data handling changes. The effective date identifies the current version. A materially different use of personal information will be addressed before that use begins, including further consent where required.
